"Yesterday was one of the best days ever! Sports Leaders went on a trip to watch the Chelsea Women’s match against Paris, and from the moment we got on the train, the excitement was unreal. Everyone was chatting and laughing as we travelled together with our teachers. It felt like a real adventure. The closer we got to the stadium, the louder we became, singing songs and guessing what the score might be.
When we arrived, the atmosphere was incredible. Blue flags were waving everywhere, and you could feel the energy in the air. I even got to meet some of the mascots, who were super friendly and funny, making everyone laugh and taking pictures with us. Sitting in the stands surrounded by cheering fans felt amazing. It did not matter where you were sitting, everyone was united, shouting, clapping, and singing for Chelsea.
Watching the players up close was inspiring. The speed, skill, and teamwork were unbelievable, and you could tell how much they loved the game. I cheered so much that my voice was nearly gone by the end. On the train back, everyone was still buzzing, talking about their favourite moments and the best goals. It was more than just a school trip, it was a memory I will never forget, a day full of friendship, fun, and football magic."
